Schedule & Cost
In 2026, YMCA Camp Weaver Summer Day Camp costs $320 per week for YMCA Nationwide Members and $330 for Community Guests.
A $50 non-refundable reservation administrative fee is required per session and is applied to the weekly balance. Note: Camp fee subject to change.
YMCA Camp Weaver believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience camp regardless of income. Camp Weaver and the YMCA of Greensboro offer Financial Assistance based on household income and/or extenuating circumstances on a sliding scale. We do not prorate any fees. All fees are on a weekly basis. Registration is open!

We offer two bus sites conveniently located in Greensboro:

We do not offer daily rates. Camp Weaver staff will ask you to set a pick-up password. Please share this password with anyone who will be picking up your child

At YMCA Camp Weaver, we offer a fun-filled summer day camp experience for campers aged 6 to 12 years old. (Note: Campers must be 6 years old by June 1st). Children are grouped by age and supervised by Camp Weaver counselors. Each day, every camper participates in both land and water activities.
Our YMCA day camp is a great opportunity for children who may be looking to take a first step toward participating in overnight summer camp but may not quite be ready to stay overnight. It’s one of the most popular day summer camps in Greensboro, NC and Guilford County!

Summer Day Camp Activities
Just because your camper isn’t staying overnight at summer camp doesn’t mean he or she has to miss out on the summer camp fun! We jam-pack day campers’ schedules with as many activities and fun experiences as we can while teaching each child core skills that they will keep with them as they grow up. Summer campers will participate in a wide variety of activities during their time at YMCA Camp Weaver Summer Camp. We hear every summer that day campers can’t wait to come back to camp day after day to see their friends, enjoy camp programs and soak in all of the fun summer activities.

Day in the Life of a Day Camper
All campers at YMCA Camp Weaver travel to activity areas and meals in their group cohort. Groups are divided by age. During the application process, you can request that children be placed in the same group.
Sample Summer Day Camp Schedule
7:30 – 9:00 am — General Check-In
9:00 am — Morning Meeting
9:30 – 10:30am — Swimming in the pool or lake (swim evaluation takes place on Mondays, campers will not have regular swim time on Mondays)
11:00 am — Meet at Flag Pole
11:15 am — Lunch
11:50 am — Activities Begin
1:00 pm — Snack
1:30 pm — Activities Continue
4:00 pm — Snack
4:30 pm — Check-out Begins
Summer Day Leader in Training Camp
Whether your camper has been coming to YMCA Camp Weaver for years, or is brand new to our camp, a teen leadership program at Camp Weaver provides an excellent opportunity for teens to develop leadership and outdoor living skills. Our leadership programs provide a safe place to work on real-life skills such as independence, time management, and group work.
Program Details
Our small cohorts of 6-8 campers work closely with staff to develop essential skills like active listening, servant leadership, and communication. Campers earn a “passport” to track their progress. We’d love to welcome your young leader back to Weaver for another summer of growth and memories.
Meals
Day summer campers at YMCA Camp Weaver will receive a delicious hot lunch each day as well as snacks throughout the day. If your camper has a food allergy, please let us know during registration.
Camp Weaver is a complete nut-free facility.
Check-In and Check-Out Procedures
Summer Day Camp check-in and check-out are easy and convenient for parents and guardians. Campers and be dropped off/picked up at Camp Weaver or at one of our bus sites throughout Greensboro, North Carolina.
